Tonight!

I'll be going down. Anyone else planning for it? This is the first time they've done it away from the shop and there's cheap beer!

I think me and Noemi are in. I'm stoked, missed the last two, looks like fun.

I'm down. I'll probably change my pedals and rock shoe covers for the ride down. It's all about efficiency... That IS why we ride fixed gear, right?

Hey this is Billy(red haired one),

You guys are biking to the sprints? I was looking for a ride.

The ride was pretty sweet. We booked it the whole way down rarely dropping below 20mph (I think the whole ride was under 1.5hrs, partly beacause we lucked out with the wind at our backs). The route involved taking US1 the entire way with the option to jump to A1A if things got sketchy. Luckily traffic was calm, we outran the rain, and the things were pretty decent. The distance was +/- 33 miles.

We arrived way early and rode around looking for a place to hydrate, not knowing Miami well that ended up with us riding around and until finally found a Walgreens. We picked up a ceremonial case of Coors and rode to a seawall to kill some time.

Open Sprints (a.k.a Watch Me Bonk) were killer, I think 14 people signed up.

The ride down was exceptionally smooth. I felt great the whole way down.

I also wanted to make everyone aware I saw stars and puked after my second race. I still can't believe how brutal that 20-something seconds is.

Can't wait for Rydel's video and photos to surface.

I can't tell where I hit 112mph with that satellite view. Where's the ride data?
