Group ride in FTL

I went on a group ride last night with this FTL Meetup Group. It was an interesting ride, definitely a refreshing change of pace from the other group rides with some nice poeple that made up a group which was a little on the older side, I think Justin and I were the youngest ones there. The ride rarely topped 13-15mph, which was nice and I can see this being a better group for beginners to ride with. Throughout the ride was a series of rest stops, one was a drum circle which was a little weird. I could tell something was up when the smell of armpits and patchouli oil filled the air throughout Birch State Park. I though it would be full of a bunch of cool hippies with smiley happy faces, but in reality (starting with the grumpy park ranger) every hippie we passed either had a chip on their shoulder or was an asshole with a chip on their shoulder. Here is another write up about the ride on South Florida Fixed. After the ride, we sat around and watched bike polo for awhile. In the end it ended up being a 26 mile night.
